the loch is down super low , went sunday to try for some bass and gills , the usuall spot we hit up is average 3-7 ft deep with nice bass and lots of gills within . It was 2 foot ..... 1 . 5 foot of weeds .5 ft of water . managed to salvage abiout 6or 7 in 2 hours in a break in the weed line a few foot deep with a 6 inch approx pikeral come chasing when i yanked him from the weeds . Saw guys catching a little bit of stuff out on boats but also watched a bunch get stuck . AND THE WORST PART PAPER WASP - BALD FACED HORNETS - CICADA KILLERS WHATEVER YOU CALL THEM THEYRE EVEEERRRYYWHEREREREEE dont step on ant like mounts whatever you do or be ready to run ( i had to run like 8 times )  Tongue If you have a yak or a canoe you probably wont do too bad . But on shore ,unless you wanna spend hours or hard work for a few dink fish i wouldnt try it  Undecided

This is a fine time of year, and water level, to get out there and get bass on the surface either early or late in the day.  You need to look for suitable places to fish though--ie deeper water, closer to shore.
