Rod Storage

Hello everyone,
I bought my first fly rod from Great Feathers the other day. My question is, what is the best way to store a fly rod for day-to-day use? Its not too big of a deal to me to break the rod down each time and put it back in the rod sock, but it is obviously a lot more convenient to keep it assembled. I was thinking about putting some hooks on my wall and mounting the rod horizontally. Any advice is appreciated.

When i look at it theres two choices , atleast what i do . Walmart mostly and some k marts have a berkley horizontal rod holder for 10 bucks i use for my trout rod i got in TN and my spinning rods , or get a full length rod and reel hard tube .
